Personal property was stolen out of Food Lion.
A couple of things.....
I’ve been shopping at the food lion in carrollton Va3years now I’m trying to understand why ? Did you take some handicapped parking spaces to make it easier for to go shopping.
It’s bad enough we don’t have many space at any of your food chains there are more than six individuals that need these parking spaces. Now I go get chicken it was soggy I take it back I was given my money back plus more chicken. Then the lady that works in the deli didn’t know I was behind her as she was getting lottery tickets out the machine. She goes on to say to another customer *** if she wants her chicken cooked right she should go back there an cook it her Dam self......
then I go in another day after paying for my groceries I asked for my stuff to be put in bags she said we don’t have many bags I thought you would carry yours out since you don’t have many small items plus we are short on bags . Then she says she was saving them for the people who need them.....
so I’m guessing I didn’t just pay for mine an don’t need bags .... I can go on with more stories about this store an a lot of the nasty service

NO PRICES on items
Nobody Knows why FOOD LION does NOT put Price on items.
Sever different isles and all the same at least 50% of the items stocked on the shelves had NO PRICE .
I asked the Store Clerks WHY NO PRICES on items and they just give you a BLANK STARE. maybe they cannot Understand why all the Other Stores put Price Tags on their items EXCEPT FOOD LION I asked the Manage and She said ,,No COMPRENDO ad did not speak English ..We don't even have Price Tags on items and Nobody buys our food lion crap anyway so why put on prices

Lack of Concern
I am Traci Scott, a local resident of Hatteras Island. Your concern to get the foreign students out in plenty of time is commendable.
However, your lack of concern for the residents that live here all year is appalling. If you could have stayed opened on Wednesday and closed on Thursday at noon so we could get the supplies we needed, it would have shown SINCERE concern for the people that really support you. As you know there are very limited options for food and supplies down here. The locals that work there could have operated the store the same as they do in the dead of winter and closed it down Thursday at noon, and still had time to leave, if they so chose too.
I know many of them personally and most of them stayed and are still here today. At this point, I hope you leave the island and allow another grocery chain to come in that will take better care of the residents of this island. Don't forget we support your vacations when you choose to come here. WE have no other choices, as you are the biggest grocer down here, with plenty of square footage to bring in supplies ahead of time.
You chose not to do that, you chose to abandon us in our time of need. Not to mention, the locals you do employ would have been grateful for the last few hours of income before closing for an uncertain amount of time after the storm.
Thank you for your attention and time with this matter.

Today is the last day I will shop in this store. We spend between 750.00 and 800.00 monthly in this store.
It is not my habit to post reviews but I am pissed off. Friday and Saturday of this week I spent a total of 263.18 in this store. I forgot a few items and had to back today (Sunday 7/1/18). The assistant store manager stood at the end of an isle thinking he was hidden from my view.
Ever get the feeling someone is watching you? Well sure enough he was watching me. I have not given him nor anyone else reason to do so. When I made eye contact with him he stepped back but it was too late.
He knew that I saw him. I shut the door to the cooler and walked right up to him and asked him how he was; glaring at him as I did so. I will not support this store with my hard earned money and I am going to contact the company and give them his name. His actions were uncalled for period.
I doubt he will see this post but I had to get this off my mind. I have no idea what he thinks but take a tip sir. Your store is being robbed blind. I see shoplifting taking place a lot and right under your nose.
I saw two men with full buggies walk right out the door, pile the groceries in two vehicle and leave and you were no more than ten feet from them. I could give you countless more examples but wont bother. I have been trained in loss prevention. Obviously you have not had training or you were not paying attention is class.
Some of the employees are good at their job but most are not; nor do they care to be. Customers should not have to shop here (Faith Road Salisbury NC) and hear employees vent their frustrations. I hear this EVERYTIME I shop here. Front end employees are talking among themselves about unfair treatment, reduction in hours worked so the managers favorites and those that belong to good ol boys club get more hours.
I have had employees tell me directly at the checkout how miserable they are working there. Guys in the meat department, those stocking the shelves, and even supervisors can be heard griping about their hours being cut and being expected to do the same amount of work that had been done in 8 hours to be done in 6 hours. Sure, the supervisors and managers are going to want the most productive employees to work most often, but I worked for Food Lion and I know firsthand that this type of thing is rampant. Has been for decades; not months or years.
With all this stated nothing will change for the better at Food Lion. And btw Food Lion is not the low price leader; not even close. Again, I spend a great deal of my income here and the thanks I get is to be spied on while shopping. One last thing.
You didn't "catch" me doing anything sir, but I caught you half *** doing your job and *** off a good customer. Good day
While walking by the deli counter, a elderly woman, wanted to get a pound of P+P loaf. A woman, behind the deli counter, with a smirk on her face , said "What's that" ? This elderly woman, very quiet
and shy, so I stepped up to the deli counter, and said, "It's pickel Pamento loaf, like a boloney, but you can see the red specs in it, very tasty". So this total *** walks back a few steps, to ask her boss.
She then comes back and says "My boss said, did you check over by the baloney section. I said "Yes, if I didn't, would we be having this conversation" ? Then this female said, "Check Walmart, or some place else" , Really ? This deli section has a horrible, limited selection , no chicken roll, some brand of Liverwust than I love, and P+P loaf, and when asked why, because it doesn't sell.
So you just turned away, 2 customers, looking for something, and it's not there, because it doesn't sell. Really ?
It would sell if it was there, but it's not there, so how can it sell ? This smirky girl and the deli manager need to be fired, with this kind of logic.
Lack of product
Foodlion does not care about their customers
I had to start a new mvp account after moving back to nc after 5 yrs. Foodlion issued me a new card and it worked for 1 week.
After several,calls from may 16, 2018 until todays date 6/28/2018 still does not work, therefore making me lose my sgop and earn rewards, discounts at register and mainly my marbles from all the calls which equal to about 100 since may. They claim oh its fixed your good to go after sending to several departments and days later, go ro store i dont exist. Even get emails confirming action taken. I dont understand what the *** is going on and why they are so ignorant.
Thwir own managers have called from my local store 9 times and no results.
Recently had a family member open a mvp to use for our home and asked all my earnings be transferred to new acct and have not heard a word imagine that..., so 44.00 on card for may untouchable, no earnibgs for june cause xould not use card and am in store daily... Im beyond pissed
